Trump went from having a 30 to 40 foot high wall made of concrete to having a steel fence. Even if there is enough steel available for a 30 or 40 foot tall 2000 mile long fence at the Southern border, it still will not keep people out. Maybe Trump believes this but I don't think many of his supporters a stupid enough to think that a wall can keep people out. I get it. Trump supporters are very stupid and maybe half of them believe a wall will work but the rest of them know it's bullshit but they will try to argue that Trump's wall will work when they know it won't.
This is a section of steel border fence. It appears to be about 12 feet tall. Even without a ladder a reasonable physically fit person could scale this fence with no tools or devices. A rope a grappling hook would make it even easier to scale. The removal of slat with a hack saw or a cutting torch or thermite would make it easy for anyone to get through the wall but easier that all that, a ladder is all that is needed to get over this fence. Yes Trumproids, South Americans have ladders.
